Over the past 8 years, we have participated in the Ministry for Primary Industries’ (MPI) Food Residues Survey Programme (FRSP) to investigate residues and other contaminants in food. It is intended to cover foods sold in the New Zealand domestic market, including both imported foods and domestic produce. The surveys collect baseline data on agricultural chemical use in New Zealand. More information on this sampling project can be found here.

In our capacity as an Independent Verification Agency (IVA), we were involved in a Dichlorvos Residue Assurance Programme (DRAP), sampling for the New Zealand Asparagus Council as part of their requirements for asparagus to be exported to Japan.
